There is no item of "Other

Charges in the nature of "Special Expenditure" to which I

need draw Your Lordship's attention.

The principal recurrent charges

appearing for the first time are $1,040 as contribution

towards pension liability for past services of the Head-

-quarter Staff of the Audit Department, $1,143 under the

head "Miscellaneous Services" as a grant in aid of the

London School of Tropical Medicine, and $800 for scholar-

-ships to boys to be selected from the District Schools for

education in Queen's College.
